Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to inform potential applicants that the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) will participate, effective immediately, in the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) PAR-17-070 "Innovative Program to Enhance Research Training (IPERT) (R25) .

Note: NIAAA will only support applications with a budget limit of $250,000 direct costs per year.

For this FOA, NIAAA's interest includes:

NIAAA invites applications to support educational activities related to alcohol research. NIAAA is particularly interested in applications which will enhance the diversity of the biomedical workforce and train other investigators interested in pursuing alcohol related research in minority health and health disparities.

Award Budget
There are no specific budget limitations; however, the requested direct costs must be reasonable, well documented, fully justified and commensurate with the scope and purpose of the proposed program for the intended outcome(s).

NIAAA will only support applications with a budget limit of $250,000 direct costs per year.
