The purpose of this notice is to clarify the Budget and Project Period statement located in the Executive Summary and the corresponding Funds Available statement located in the Award Information for the funding opportunity announcement (FOA), RFA-AA-09-001, Limited Competition:  Underage Drinking:  Building Health Care System Responses (Phase II) (U01).

The bullet in the Executive Summary labeled “Budget and Project Period” should read: 
Up to five years of support may be requested.  Total costs of individual awards are expected to range from $250,000 to $750,000.

The bullet and the subsequent statement in the Award Information labeled “Funds Available” should read:
It is anticipated that individual awards will range from $250,000 to $750,000 in total costs per year.   And below the bullets:

The estimated amount of funds available for support of each project awarded as a result of this announcement is up to $750,000 in total costs for fiscal year 2009.
