PHARMACOGENETIC RESEARCH NETWORK AND DATABASE CHANGE IN PUBLIC BRIEFING Release Date: February 11, 1999 RFA: GM-99-004 P.T. National Institute of General Medical Sciences National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute National Human Genome Research Institute National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences National Institute of Mental Health National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism The purpose of this notice is to change the date and announce the time and place of the public briefing for applicants for the Pharmacogenetic Research Network and Database. This initiative was described in the request for applications (RFA) GM-99-004, released in the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts on December 23, 1998. The public briefing will be held on April 6, 1999, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Please note that this date is different from what was originally advertised. The location of the briefing will be Conference Center Room A, Natcher Building, 45 Center Drive, on the NIH Campus in Bethesda, Maryland. All prospective applicant institutions are invited to send a representative to attend the public briefing on the Pharmacogenetics Research Network and Database. NIH staff will explain the purpose of the program and answer questions. Institutions that cannot send a representative to this briefing may ask for copies of any hand-out materials. Directions to the building and information about accommodations in the area are available upon request.
