INFORMATIONAL MEETING FOR POTENTIAL APPLICANTS TO PEDIATRIC BRAIN TUMOR CLINICAL TRIALS CONSORTIUM Release Date: February 12, 1998 P.T. National Cancer Institute Request for Applications (RFA CA-98-007) for cooperative agreements (U01) from institutions to participate in a Pediatric Brain Tumor Clinical Trials Consortium to develop and conduct pilot and phase I and II clinical evaluations of new agents or approaches for the treatment of primary central nervous system malignancies in pediatric patients will be published in February 1998. An informational session for those investigators planning to submit applications in response to the RFA will be held on Monday, March 23, 1998 from 2:00 pm to 5 pm at the Holiday Inn O Hare, in Chicago, IL. Representatives from the Clinical Trials Evaluation Program, Radiation Research Program, Diagnostic Imaging Program, Grants Management Branch, and Special Review, Referral and Resources Branch will be available to provide information and to answer questions relevant to applications responding to this RFA. Transcripts will be available upon request for investigators who are unable to attend.
