Post-Conference Technology Transfer Workshop Added to Agenda

On June 22-23, 2011, the SBIR/ STTR Conference: Translating Medical Discoveries into Health Products will return to the NIH Campus. Over 600 health and science managers, entrepreneurs, small business researchers, university researchers, and consulting organizations will come together on the NIH campus to explore the many nuances of the NIH SBIR/STTR program, the funding opportunities available to small business researchers, get questions answered by NIH staff, and learn how the NIH SBIR/STTR program can be a valuable resource to help start and/or grow companies.

NIH awarded nearly $690M in Fiscal Year 2010 exclusively for small businesses to perform innovative research and R&D in the biomedical/behavioral sciences. If you need funding for an innovative research idea in the life/health sciences that would help meet NIH's mission of improving human health and has the potential for commercialization, then join us to learn about the NIH SBIR and STTR funding opportunities.
