Poster Session Submission Date Extended to May 15
"Public Meeting"
Abstracts due May 15th
The National Institutes of Health SBIR/STTR Program is pleased to announce that a Poster Session will be part of the 10th Annual NIH SBIR/STTR Conference. The purpose of the poster session is to create an opportunity for SBIR/STTR Phase II awardees to present their research and technology to their peers, to foster discussions that may lead to collaborations, and to identify potential research partners. This is not an exhibit or tradeshow, but is instead an opportunity to share information.
1. General Information:
The poster session is held in conjunction with the 10th Annual NIH SBIR/STTR Conference. During the two-day session forty presenters will display their non-proprietary scientific findings of their Phase II research. Poster presenters will not be expected to stand by their poster while the meeting sessions are ongoing; presenters should be available during breaks to discuss their technologies. Specific event information is as follows:
Dates & Times:
- July 21; during pre-conference reception
- July 22
Location: The Omni Hotel at CNN Center Atlanta, Georgia. Set-up time, date, and space assignment will be provided later to those selected to present.
Submission Deadline: April 15, 2008

3. Abstract Preparation Instructions:
Organize the body of the abstract as follows:
- State objectives of the study (preferably one sentence)
- Discuss the methods used.
- Summarize the results in sufficient detail to support the conclusion.
- Provide the conclusions.
- Limit to 250-500 words.
4. Additional Information:
- Please review your abstract carefully before submitting. NIH is not responsible for correcting typographical, spelling, or grammatical errors.
- Accepted abstracts will be reproduced and included in the Abstract Poster Book and distributed during the conference.
- Specific poster preparation guidelines will be provided at a later date to those selected.
