OER is pleased to offer the NIH Extramural Data Book for fiscal year 2007. This publication provides data on NIH extramural research programs over a 10-year period as well as some longer-term trends. It is updated annually by the Reporting Branch of the Division of Information Services (DIS), Office of Research Information Services (ORIS) at the NIH. Additional sections and slides may be added to the Data Book during the year based upon current trends and demands for data. The complete Data book and individual chapters provide information on the topics listed below using various charts and the data used to produce the chart are also provided.
